Christopher Flockton, British actor and voice-over talent will host the 2012 New York Festivals® International Advertising Awards New York Show Awards Ceremony on May 3rd at the landmark New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. As NYF’s Master of Ceremonies, Flockton takes to the stage to honor the World’s Best Advertising™ from around the globe.
For six years Chris was the narrator and personality behind VH1’s top-rated show, The Fabulous Life. The show’s 110 episodes can been seen on VH1 and MTV networks in over 30 countries around the world. He has also appeared on Law & Order: SVU in the episode, “Trophy” opposite Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni. Chris is the promo voice for ESPN’s coverage of Barclay’s Premier League soccer, and has been heard several time in comedy bits during Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue.
Chris was a member of New York’s acclaimed Rumble in the RedRoom sketch comedy ensemble for 4 years, and has worked extensively in theatre, film, voice-over, and countless corporate events around the world.
NYF’s New York Show is a 2-day festival that begins on May 2nd, and features creative panel discussions, keynote speakers, networking events, and the 2012 Executive Jury Press Conference. The show will culminate with the annual International Advertising Awards ceremony on May 3rd. All New York Show events and the 2012 awards gala will take place at the Beaux-Arts New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Building located at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street.
