New York Festivals International Advertising in All Media Awards (NYFA) has been completely restructured. Winners from ten competitions, each with its own jury of creative professionals hand-picked for their expertise in that particular specialty, will be celebrated at the May 2008 awards gala in New York City.
Also new this year are several categories including Gay/Lesbian, Olympic Theme/Sponsorship and Political Advertisements.
The final deadline to enter this year's competition is January 14, 2008.
The ten competitions under the NYFA banner break down as follows:

- Print
- Design
- Interactive
- Outdoor
- Mixed Media
- Radio
- Collateral (NEW)
- Art & Technique (NEW)
- Student (NEW)
ABOUT THE NEW COMPETITIONS:
Art & Technique champions excellence in the technical side of advertising. Recognizing the importance and appreciating the fine-tuning that distinguishes good from great, the Art & Technique competition searches for entries where precision makes the piece and raises industry standards. Categories include Art Direction, Best Music, Copywriting, Editing, Film Direction, Illustration, Photography and Sound Design. Entries will be judged by a hand-picked international panel of executives from ad agencies and production companies.
A medium tightly bound to information and effective communication, Collateral challenges the analytic and aesthetic sides of creative. Sample categories include Brand Label, Brochure, Calendar, Logo and Stationery.
The Student Competition seeks out the top-notch creative talent of tomorrow for a sneak peak of the innovation to come.
