For 53 years, NYF's International Advertising Awards has honored the World's Best Work TM in all media from over 70 countries around the world: television, cinema, print, outdoor, interactive, design, mixed media, collateral, radio and student advertising.

With over 250 GrandJury members representing 60 countries around the world, the New York Festivals Advertising Awards has the largest and most international advertising awards jury in the world.
Judged completely online, each entrant New York Festivals online judging system ensures that each entry receives the proper amount of time and attention, in an environment that is free from outside distractions and unsolicited opinions. The online judging system is the first line of defense against scam ads. Judges are allowed to flag a suspected scam ad and are encouraged to write confidential comments online to support their suspicions.

New Awards this year include: The Boutique Agency of the Year will be selected from winning agencies that are not affiliated with any agency networks and have less than 75 employees. The new award categories level the playing field allowing boutique agencies the opportunity to compete against each other for the newly minted award.

In addition to the Boutique Agency of the Year, NYF has created the Best New Agency award to recognize those upstart agencies. The new award allows agencies in business for less than two years to compete and be recognized for their creative achievements, their ability to garner international exposure and the impact their work has on the marketplace.

Each year, NYF recognizes its winners at ceremonies around the world. Click here to view photos from the 2009 World Tour. Exciting details about the 2010 event will be announced soon.

Arguably the most widely seen of all ad units, brilliant outdoor requires ideas that telegraph their message instantly. It's this combination of carefully selected words and visuals that makes this category so challenging. And winning it so rewarding.

Few categories are as inspiring as print. The ability to distill an idea down to a single page is a talent few have mastered. It's the closest advertising gets to art. To be judged to have done it better than anyone else that year is perhaps the highest accolade a creative can receive.
